Abstract
Research Town contains conceptual maps and functions as an archive and conduit for communicating the purpose of my research, the drawings and publications that I produce in my research-practice in addition to reflections on my research, situated at the intersections of publishing studies and visual arts fields of research and practice. The website sections present my research-practice in the categories of: 'Fount', a magazine that I am producing which aims to examine the role of magazines for art, culture and heritage in Scotland today for connecting individuals, communities, locales and nations through creative and cultural practices; 'Gallery', which presents an archive of my contemporary art exhibitions; 'Press Room' which presents my drawing, zines and slogans produced in my research-practice; and 'Project Storehouse', which presents the collaborative projects and artists residencies I have conducted.
