About me
I am a Lecturer in Initial Teacher Education in the Faculty of Social Sciences, with a specialism in Physical Education. As well as a Lecturer in Sport in the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, with a specialism in Sport Development and Coaching and Sport and Exercise Psychology.
Previous to this I was a P.E teacher in schools across Scotland for 15 years. I held leadership positions in Curriculum Development, Hockey, Tennis, Pastoral Care as well as leading whole school events.
My professional career interests include sport psychology, psycho-social education, pedagogy, coaching and mentoring, and certificated physical education. I'm currently studying an MSc in Sport Psychology and continue to have a passion for sport, playing international Masters Hockey.
