About me

Dr Anh Nguyen is a Harvard-trained clinician researcher, a registered nutrition practitioner of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council with a master degree in Nutritional Therapy at the University of Worcester, and then be trained in genomic medicine at the University of South Wales. He had worked as a chief consultant nutritionist in paediatrics and maternal health before he earned a Clinical Doctorate (DProf) in the field of dietetics and nutrition at University of Stirling. He is elected as Fellow of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine in 2021. Besides, he is also a professional member of the British Society of Genetic Medicine, Association of Genetics Nurses and Counsellors, and the Genetics Society. He serves as the Editorial Board of PLOS One and the JMIR Pediatrics and Parenting.

RESEARCH INTERESTS: Nutrition in Maternal and Child Health, Public Health Issues in Southeast Asian Countries, Gene-Diet Interaction, Nutrigenomics, Chronic Diseases, Research Methodology and Health Policy.
