Abstract
First paragraph: Either recces or a combination of recces and transects are currently used for multi-species and human impact monitoring in the Central African forests. These are pre-designed sample units representative of the whole area to be surveyed, consisting of known trajectories, along which trained teams of wildlife technicians walk, collecting data on human and animal sign.
