Abstract
Analysis of the case law of the European Court of Human Rights on international surrogacy cases. Rejection of the proposal at the Hague Conference on Private International Law just to tackle parentage. Confirmation that international regulation is needed by treaty but in the meantime as consensus is built for that soft law principles should be developed.
