In addition to four non fiction books, she has written a novel and lots of short stories, articles and features for publications including Granta Magazine, Diva, The Telegraph, Red Magazine, La Piccioletta Barca, and academic articles about her research interests.

Lorna is interested in the fiction and non-fiction overlap, autofiction and biography, global issues around women's reproductive health, minority languages, linguistic activism, Spiritualism, Thelema and travel writing.
