Her debut novel was endorsed by Amnesty International in 2016 and longlisted for the Dublin International Literary Award in 2018. Her third novel won Nottingham’s Big City Reads in 2019, taking joint first place with Alice Oseman’s ‘Heartstopper’, and her fourth was included in The Independent's list of '15 Best YA books'.
