Making a House a ‘Home’ in the Private Rented Sector: Good Practice Guidance for Landlords

Funded by Safe Deposit Scotland Charitable Trust (SDS).

Collaboration with Cardiff University and Edge Hill University.

Funded by SafeDeposits Charitable Trust this collaborative project led by Stirling, also involving colleagues from Edgehill and Cardiff Universities, is designed to promote best practice in Scotland’s private rented sector. Informed by a rapid review of the literature the study will produce a good practice guide for private sector landlords, highlighting the key role they have to play in supporting their tenants make a ‘home’. The project outputs will be launched by a blog and video and also disseminated at key housing policy and practice events.
