I am a marine social scientist using quantitative and qualitative methods to understand and improve how we manage coastal social-ecological systems. My research at the University of Stirling focuses on supporting sustainable and climate resilient aquaculture using expert-professional judgement to reduce uncertainty and support decision-making.
I completed my PhD titled "The role of eco-certification in marine salmon farming" at Dalhousie University in 2023. My research interests have included ecosystem services and trade-offs, aquaculture eco-certification, social licence, and aquaculture governance.
