About me

I joined the University of Stirling in January 2020 to work with professor Peter Hancock on the FACER2VM project. The aim of this project is to examine how humans and computer algorithms perform tasks of one-to-one face matching. I received my Ph.D. from Flinders University, South Australia in 2018. My thesis examined how social context influences the first impressions that we make from facial appearance. My research interests include how humans perceive faces, how we make first impressions from facial appearance, and how these judgments affect behaviour.

Research

My research interests include how humans can recognise and learn faces, as well as how social context changes the way that we perceive and judge faces.
