Research

My PhD project examines the role of intelectin-1 and other adipokines in cancer cachexia. My research interests include (but are not limited to): muscle physiology, tissue crosstalk, the process of systematically reviewing evidence and statistical modelling.

My past experiences in both health and sports science enabled me with a multifaceted set of skills that is valuable both in the laboratory and on the field. Always trying to bridge the gap between research and practice, I am open to any potential collaborations, so feel free to get in touch!
