Abstract
Twelve consecutive out-patients had their performance on the National Adult Reading Test (NART) audiotaped. This tape was then 'scored' for accuracy of pronunciation by 10 experienced clinical psychologists who use the NART in their routine clinical practice. The results indicate that the NART has a relatively high degree of inter-rater reliability.
