Abstract
This publication presents a collection of academic work associated with the third annual conference of the Living in Surveillance Societies (LiSS) COST Action (ISO807), which took place at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain, between 29 May and 1 June, 2012. The conference was chaired by Professor William Webster and Dr Gemma Galdon Clavell and incorporated conference themed panel sessions, workshops, a doctoral school and sessions open to the general public. In total, over 50 academic papers were presented and over 70 delegates participated in the event. These activities have been ‘captured' in this edition in the form of full articles, papers and reports. Combined, these contributions represent a considerable body of knowledge and some contemporary and up-todate thinking about what it means to live in a surveillance society. Show more Show less
