Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify means to improve access to health and other public services for the residents of Argyll and Bute. It particularly considers those who need an effective and integrated transport system to enable them to access non-emergency health and other services both locally and outwith the area. The report: provides information on transport provision, peoples' key destinations, transport issues and recommendations for improvement in three case study areas: Islay, Dalmally and the Isle of Bute. More detailed information on each section is provided in the Appendices. It is intended to form the basis for further action and discussion amongst relevant bodies.
