Abstract
First paragraph: In a world where true wilderness and distinctive cultures are increasingly scarce, Gabon is a unique and remarkably preserved Garden of Eden. Its natural systems are intact and include the largest undisturbed rainforest in Africa. Its inspiring wildlife consists of the largest population of Forest Elephants on the continent, and more than 700 species of birds, 70 species of reptiles, 190 mammal species including Rainforest Gorilla, Chimpanzee, Mandrill, and Hippopotamus, plus thousands of plant species found nowhere else on Earth.
