Abstract
The eonception of the peace as a human right has been included recently in the debate at international level. Over the past years the main controversial issue regards the incorporation of such right in the list of human rights established by the 1948 Universal Declaration. It can be said that there is a progressive trend towards the codification of a right to peace. There are different international instruments including the normative basis for this recognition. This article aims at analizing not only the recognition but also the content and the entitlement to the right to peace.
