The presentation reported on an evaluation of a 3 year project funded by the BLF delivered by HARV across Hyndburn and Ribble Valley area, probably the first of its kind. The service provided was in line with the National Standards for the provision of Advocacy (DoH 2002) 198 children and young people were referred in the 3 year period: 70 % were aged between 10 and 18 years. We used several methods to gather data for the evaluation – Case samples – Focus groups – 1:1interviews with young people – Stakeholder and staff interviews – Non-participant observation – Referral and outcome audit
