Abstract
This paper outlines and explains the quantitative data methods employed in the project entitled ‘Identifying and Understanding Inequalities in Child Welfare Intervention Rates: comparative studies in four UK countries’ funded by the Nuffield Foundation, 2015-17 (www.covntry.ac.uk/cwip). It is designed to give a detailed overview of the processes involved in collecting, cleaning and analysing with the quantitative data across the four UK countries.
