Abstract
First paragraph: Purpose: The subjective nature of the Sports Concussion Assessment Tool (SCAT5), means SRC diagnosis is based on clinical judgment, with focus given to symptom resolution to determine readiness to play, which may hinder understanding of the interconnected nature and relationships in deficit recovery. Here we investigate results from an experimental multimodal assessment of 50 university athletes compared to reference standard SCAT5 to distinguish those with a history of SRC.
