Abstract
First paragraph: In 1992, the European AIDS Treatment Group (EATG) was formally launched in Berlin. It was the brainchild of two key HIV/AIDS campaigning organizations in Germany and the UK, the German group Deutsche Aidshilfe and their British counterparts from the Terrence Higgins Trust. EATG is a transnational organization that promotes HIV treatment, which has been expanding to include members from Central Eastern Europe, Southern Europe, and Central Asia.
