Abstract
First paragraph:
Many individuals infected with HCV live in remote areas. Given the simplicity of design, including non-invasively obtained blood by finger stick capillary tube draw, rapid testing technologies can be done on site,
precluding the need for patients or their blood specimens to travel long distances for evaluation. Additionally, testing could be carried out by non-medical staff.
