Abstract
Considers the extent to which a corporate rescue culture has been strengthened in the UK, with reference to the Cork Report, and the Enterprise Act 2002. Looks at administration as a tool of rescue, including its possible abuse, and institutional concerns. Provides a brief comparative analysis of corporate rescue in other jurisdictions.
