Abstract
Governments around the world have introduced a range of measures aimed at addressing the risk of COVID-19 transmission in licensed premises. This briefing provides insights for policymakers from the ‘Managing COVID-19 transmission risks in bars’ research, undertaken in Scotland in Spring/Summer 2020. As the only study of its kind to date, the findings help to fulfil an urgent need for evidence to inform and underpin evolving COVID-19 measures.
