About me

I first joined the Law School at Stirling in 2021 and since then have enjoyed teaching on a range of modules across the law and social-sciences faculties.

Prior to coming to Stirling I mainly worked in non-profit and third or voluntary sector legal and research roles in Scotland and overseas. I also completed a three-month SGSSS doctoral internship with the Scottish Government Justice Analytical Service in 2021.

I hold an LLB in Scots Law from the University of Edinburgh (2017), an LLM in International Criminal Justice and Human Rights from the University of Dundee (2018) and I am currently completing my PhD in criminology at Stirling.

Research

My research interests include international, transnational and national criminal law, human rights, international public law, and global security.

I am passionate about access and development in further and higher education including research in learning and teaching.
