Evaluating the relationship between public perception, engagement and attitudes towards underground energy technologies and UK Geoenergy Observatory science.

This project seeks to address two key aims; the first will evaluate the methods of engagement used by the British Geological Society to disseminate information associated with research activities in the UK Geoenergy Observatories; the second will investigate the role that energy literacy has on public understanding of the energy system and how this may impact on levels of engagement and public attitudes towards energy supply, demand and underground energy technologies.
