Synthesizing evidence of forest-to-bog restoration impacts on carbon emissions
–
Funded by Scottish Government.
Collaboration with University of Edinburgh.
Aim of this 1-year project is to synthesise a number of disparate data set on carbon dynamics in blanket bogs of the Flowcountry. The objective is to derive a first estimate of the net carbon and greenhouse gas balance for pristine, restored and forested blanket bog areas.
