About me

Teaching Fellow Departmental Responsibilities: I am currently the Module Co-ordinator for Module 3 in the Common Foundation Programme and Modules 4 and 6 in the Adult Branch Programme. I also co-ordinate and teach non-medical prescribing at the Western Isles Campus. I am a member of the Departmental Research Seminar Group and Clinical Skills Group. Teaching: I teach a wide variety of subjects across the undergraduate programme in Common Foundation and Adult Branch. I teach on NUR208 Non-Medical Prescribing. I specialise in the teaching of resuscitation subjects and have input across all campuses in Immediate Life Support (Module 8/9) and I also teach Basic to Advanced Life Support theory and practice to students and to registered clinical staff. Membership of Research Groups and National Committees: Departmental Research Seminar Group Nurse Prescribing Scottish HEI Network Membership of Professional Organisations: Resuscitation Council (UK). Registered Advanced Life Support Instructor
