About me

Associate Head of School - Highland and Western Isles Programme Director - MSc Health and Wellbeing of the Older Person Module Coordinator -Managing and Assessing Pain I am intrested in research about different apsects of older people care. Recent and current projects have looked at the impact of sensory impairment and pharmacological care services. Further research intrests include access to remote and rural healthcare and education delivery. I have also published pedagogical research realting to various aspects of education access and particpation. I supervise Masters, Clinical Doctorate and PhD students. Research topics inlcude; remote and rural healthcare, telehealth andeducation. I teach across the Undergraduate nursing programme and am an academic mentor for undergraduate nursing students. I have research and teaching linkages across institutions, including international collaborations in India.
