About me
Dr Charles Teta holds a PhD in Environmental Toxicology (2017). Before joining the University of Stirling, he worked as an Environmental Science Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London. His research focuses on the environmental fate, effects, and health risks of water pollutants, including heavy metals and emerging contaminants of concern, such as endocrine-disrupting chemicals, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in the environment. He has also researched and consulted on aquaculture.
