About me

I am a Lecturer in Economics at the University of Stirling.

My current research focuses on discriminatory policing practices and other aspects of the economics of crime. I am also working on an empirical paper estimating regional differences in the degree of meritocracy in the US.

More generally, my interests span applied microeconomics and econometrics, and increasingly environmental and agricultural economics. I have a Masters in Landscape Architecture and enjoy applying economic theory and practice to issues surrounding place, community, and spatial interactions.
