MSc Psychological Research Methods (Child Development)
As a returning student to the Psychology Division at Stirling, after completing my undergraduate BSc in Psychology in 2011, I feel that undertaking my MSc Child Development part-time has absolutely been the best decision for me. Taking the course over two years has allowed me the benefit of being extremely flexible with my timetable building. I have been able to choose which classes I wished to take in each semester and this has allowed me to continue working full-time around these classes which has been extremely beneficial. The lecturers and staff have been incredibly supportive and inclusive, which I really appreciate. I have never once felt like I have missed out on anything or been excluded, because I am a part-time student, and that is the way it should be. There is always someone available to answer your question or query and nothing is too much trouble for the staff in the Division office!
To anyone who is thinking about taking on an MSc course within the Psychology Division and who wants to do it part-time but isn’t sure what this means, I would say to them - do it! It is the best decision I have made in furthering my career prospects and I wouldn't change it for the world!
