Completing the Master's degree alongside working full-time in football was a huge challenge for me, but one in which I felt tremendous support from all the lecturers that had valuable knowledge of various coaching contexts.

It has enabled me to self-reflect on my coaching practice in greater detail, understanding how our beliefs and behaviours as coaches impact the environment around us.

In my current role as Head Coach of Mjøndalen IF Fotball in Norway, we have a very exciting, young squad that has huge potential. The insights I gained on the MSc into the pedagogical side of coaching, understanding how players learn, should stand me in good stead to maximise our chances of success. An incredibly beneficial course for me personally, that has complimented my previous learning within football.
