Scotland is the hub for data research and activities, so was a perfect place for me to study the MSc Data Science for Business at Stirling.

As part of the course, we learnt two important languages: 'Python' and 'R' which are globally recognised and are must-have tools.

The Careers Service at the University helped me to get an internship opportunity with Diageo, which is a global leader in beverages and alcohol manufacturing across the world. I worked as a data analyst, working with vibrant and diverse teams on the visualisation of data which helps in making better business decisions.

As a result of the internship, I was offered a 12-month full-time position with Diageo and I'm really excited to continue my journey further, where I'll be getting a chance to explore all the skills that I have learnt from the course and put it into my career.
