James Whiteford

I originally came to the University of Stirling to study cell Biology and at the end of the four years I decided that lab work just wasn't for me and I applied to study an MSc Business and Management. This was something I had always had an interest in and despite not having studied it before I received a lot of support from lecturers which was really helpful. The MSc Business and Management has helped me to gain industry experience and I've developed the relevant skills needed for the work place - from communication, to team work and gaining relevant contacts. I've been involved in many extra-curricular activities during my time at Stirling, predominantly working as a student ambassador. My plans for the future are to hopefully study a PhD.
