Barry's Story
Barry Goh is celebrating after graduating with an upper second-class degree in BA (Hons) Sports Studies and Marketing at the University of Stirling in Singapore.
He chose Stirling, which has just been named the ‘UK’s Sports University of the Year 2020’ by The Times and Sunday Times, because of its expertise and reputation among the sports industry.
“I have always loved doing sports and over time that has developed into an interest in how sports events and tournaments are planned and executed,” he said. “As soon as I heard that this course would allow me to learn the operations and governance of sports, I immediately signed up for it.
“I now plan to put what I have learned so far into action, but to also keep learning and developing as I begin my career working in the sports industry.
“The experience I have had while studying at the University of Stirling has been fun, intriguing, and awesome.”
