Chijioke Ohuocha

Before arriving at Stirling, Chijioke obtained a bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and acquired experience of investment research, business strategy and portfolio management working for major financial institutions and investment banks in Nigeria.

After graduating with an MSc in Investment Analysis (with Distinction), Chijioke joined Thomson Reuters as financial correspondent for Nigeria. In this role he writes stories on Nigerian businesses and financial markets whilst also analysing policy decisions and their impact on the Nigerian economy. He interviews policy makers, CEOs, economists, research analysts and academics, breaking news items which often receive global coverage.
