The programme provided me with a firm grounding for a career in Health Visiting, it allowed me to build skills and confidence within both the practical and theoretical aspects of health visiting. The mix of both study and clinical experience offered throughout the course ensured that I felt capable and ready to take up my first health visiting post. The lecturers were all very knowledgeable, approachable and committed, they were always happy to provide support and encouragement during this challenging and exciting programme. Previously I had never considered myself to be particularly academic however I now feel proud of my achievements.
