Benjamin Benthe

I chose to apply to the University of Stirling because I wanted to study in an English speaking university with students from around the world. I went to an international High School and wanted to continue my education in an international environment. I wasn’t certain of the path that I wanted to take so the University’s course flexibility was a perfect fit for me.

The lecturers in both economics and finance are incredible and what I particularly liked about finance was the bridging between theory and the real-world markets. I chose to write my dissertation in Finance as I have great interest in financial markets and follow market developments on a daily basis.
