Akinwale Fayemiro

I have worked as a Media Producer across the radio, television and digital media industry in Nigeria, and I wanted to take a step further in my career by studying a Masters in a media-related course that was very practical. When researching for courses, the University of Stirling stood out for being ranked as one of the best for film and media studies. 

During the course, I took modules such as Digital Video Production and Visual Communication Design that helped me hone my skills as a Media Producer. For my dissertation, I created a short documentary. This was my favourite part and allowed me to put into practice the skills I had learned during the degree. 
 

I’m currently on an internship with BBC Scotland, I gained this through the professional portfolio created while studying at the University.
