Hear from some of our current Student Ambassadors
Ewan Lewis, 3rd Year BSc (Hons) Mathematics
Student Ambassadors has given me the opportunity to develop as a person. I’ve been the squirrel mascot, a campus tour guide and part of the student recruitment team in Northern Ireland. Currently I’m involved with the English Language Programme, where we take students on trips all over Scotland.
Katie Malcolm, 3rd Year BA (Hons) Sport Studies
I have thoroughly enjoyed working as a student ambassador. Not only has it given me a job at university, it has allowed me to give back and share my experiences with potential future students. The role has helped develop my skills through working and speaking to many different people and representing the University through various different jobs.
Calum Brown, 3rd Year BA (Hons) Sport Studies
Being a student ambassador really adds to your university life. Not only do you have a great addition for your CV, you are employed by the University to represent them at a range of different events.
You get the chance to help others potentially begin their journey to University by showing them the campus and facilities on open days or campus tours.
If I was to look back at what I have done in my time after finishing university, then I would absolutely say becoming a student ambassador was one of the best and rewarding things that I had done.
