Workshops

Our workshops are available at an additional cost to the membership. They are designed to provide focus and development of a specific area of fitness. 

Workshops will be over a set length of time between 4-8 weeks and sessions will take place at the same time each week. The aim of a workshop is to progress and improve in skills from when you start. 

Non-members are welcome to book into our workshops and can access our facilities and classes throughout the duration of the workshop to maximise their learning!

Yoga Inversions

Inversions, such as Handstand & headstand have been known to benefit the endocrine, lymphatic, circulatory, digestive, respiratory, urinary, excretory, hormonal & CNS. 

We’ll look at how to safely approach, improve & refine practice in this workshop for all abilities.

Pregnancy Yoga Sunday 20 April 2025 15:25-16:10 Sports Hall 2 4 weeks

Pregnancy yoga will nurture & support you throughout pregnancy, birth & beyond. For everyone from 12 weeks of pregnancy. Relieve aches with postures & movements and learn specific breathing techniques to help you experience a calm & empowered birth.

Group Personal Training Wednesday 30 April 2025 18:00-19:00 High Performance Suite 6 weeks

A 6-week workshop led by our Personal Trainer, Fiona. The aim of the workshop is to improve your full body strength, whilst providing valuable education that can be used in a strength and conditioning environment.

TRX Pilates Thursday 5 June 2025 09:00-09:35 Multi-purpose studio 4 weeks

A 4 week workshop which will help you build your strong & flexible core through a series of TRX Pilates exercises. This workshop has similar benefits to reformer Pilates. Any level welcome. We do not advise this workshop if you have lower back injuries.

Pilates for Runners Thursday 5 June 2025 12:00-12:40 Multi-purpose studio 6 weeks

Stability & core strength is essential for efficient running technique. Runners usually have a small imbalance to the muscles due to the body working in one plane in one direction. This 6 week course will help to prevent injury and improve efficacy.

Learn the Splits Friday 6 June 2025 12:00-12:45 Multi-purpose studio 4 weeks

Want to learn a new party trick? With consistent practice & the right stretches, the splits are within anyone’s reach, even if your a beginner. Over the 4 week workshop you will learn how to safety stretch the spine & lower-body to achieve the splits.
