Concerned for your own mental health or the mental health of others?
How’s it going?
Sometimes we know our friends better than they know themselves. If your friend seems a bit low or is not acting like themselves, ask them how they’re doing. It’s a simple question but it could have a big impact.
If you're worried about them then get in touch with the Student Services Hub who can help you.
There's also a wide range of organisations that can provide professional help and advice for you or your friend's mental health and emotional wellbeing.
When faced with a person in distress it is important to stay calm, listen and adopt a non-judgemental approach.
