Iona Beveridge joined the University as Academic Registrar in January 2015, having previously held the role of Deputy Director, Student Experience and Enhancement Services at the University of Strathclyde.
Prior to this, Iona’s experience was gained through a range of roles within college sector institutions, the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education, and the University of the Highlands and Islands, with all these roles based around student support and development, student services, student administration, student and institutional policy, and academic services.
As Academic Registrar, Iona leads the Academic Registry and its work in relation to: the student experience; student administration; quality assurance and enhancement; academic regulation and governance; examinations; graduation; teaching timetabling; student immigration; student systems; complaints; appeals; and student discipline.
