About me

I'm based at the Institute of Aquaculture's marine lab at Machrihanish in Kintyre. We're developing new products and methods, primarily for the salmon aquaculture industry.  I'm the GLP Study Director covering all of our aquatic work on veterinary medicines and vaccines, feeds, chemicals, eco-toxicology, product support and genetics.  My prior work has been in the field of developmental genetics, using zebrafish embryos to study inherited brain and muscle diseases and develop models for drug identification.
