They will report on the fund’s performance to date and pitch additional stocks from five sectors to an alumni panel of industry experts, in the University’s Cottrell Lecture Theatre W1, tomorrow at 2pm.

The event is open to all students, staff, alumni and members of the public.

The student-managed fund is currently using ‘virtual’ money but aims to convert the holdings into real money investments in September 2018 as it achieves its first fundraising target.

The fund, set up to provide students with experience of professional equity analysis and portfolio management, is seeking donations from alumni and friends of the university.

If you are interested in supporting the fund, please contact Isaac Tabner, Kevin CampbellPatrick Herbst or visit the SMIF donation page to find out more.
