Elisabeta Valeria Craciun has been offered a nursing position with NHS Forth Valley after graduating with a BSc Nursing from the University of Stirling.

It was then Elisabeta set her sights on achieving a full nursing degree and she was attracted to the three-year course at Stirling. She explained: “I chose Stirling because my husband and I live in the area and we love this part of Scotland.
“Importantly, the University offered me the best opportunity to achieve my goal and gain my full nursing qualification. It also allowed me to practice and show my dedication and commitment to the nursing profession.”
During her time at Stirling, Elisabeta was one of a small group of students who volunteered to be part of a trial for a new nursing recruitment programme. She was impressed by the opportunities, teaching and resources available at the University.
“I have enjoyed walking around the beautiful campus and made the most of library resources – both books and online – while researching my nursing assignments,” she said.
“I really valued the help and support from tutors and resources within the nursing department.”
Elisabeta added: “I am eager to continue to learn and develop in my chosen career.”
