Professor Gerry McCormac, the Principal and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Stirling, met up with Linda McKay MBE, the Principal of Forth Valley College, at the College’s new Stirling campus on Monday. The principals signed a memorandum of understanding between the two institutions and discussed two new degree courses, run jointly by the College and University. They also discussed the potential for future collaborations.
The bodies are jointly offering a BA (Hons) in Heritage and Conservation Management and a BSc (Hons) in Applied Biological Sciences from August this year.
Both courses are linked to key growth areas for Scotland, offering increased employment opportunities in the future.
