The University of Stirling has risen in the Guardian’s University League tables 2017.
Stirling has climbed 7 places from 65 in last year’s league table to 58th place in the 2017 rankings.
The University's highest ranked subjects are Criminology (9th in the UK and 1st in Scotland), Education (9th in the UK and 1st in Scotland), Economics (14th), Social Policy (15th) and Geography and Environmental Science (18th).
The tables are based on information collected by the Higher Education Statistics Agency (Hesa) and the National Student Survey, published by Higher Education Funding Council for England (Hefce). The Guardian University Guide 2016 is a ranking at undergraduate level only.
