Join our Careers Essentials ‘How to Improve’ workshops to build on your existing knowledge and apply it within the recruitment process.

Using LinkedIn is increasingly important as part of the job search and recruitment process; many employers will search for you online on receipt of an application and may use it to search for suitable prospective candidates.

This 45-minute workshop will summarise the essentials of developing an effective LinkedIn profile, and enable you to reflect upon and share your experience and concerns about using the platform. This will be done in informal small groups, facilitated by a Careers Consultant.

You can expect the Careers Consultant to:

  • outline the benefits of using LinkedIn as part of your job search and networking strategy;
  • run through the basics of a high-quality LinkedIn profile;
  • give you tips on how to use LinkedIn to engage with potential employers.
