Congratulations on completing your studies at the University of Stirling.

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to a community that extends beyond the campus: a community of alumni (graduates and former students) all over the world who share with you the experience of studying at the University of Stirling.

Once you graduate, you automatically become a lifelong member of the University of Stirling alumni community. The alumni association promotes and facilitates links between the University and its alumni. Members of the association can take advantage of a number of benefits which include:

  • Our annual magazine, Stirling Minds and regular e-newsletters.
  • A network of alumni ambassadors worldwide.
  • Invitations to events and reunions, or assistance with organising your own reunion.
  • A tracing service for friends you may have lost contact with.

Alumni ambassadors

There are many ways in which graduates support the University such as helping at recruitment fairs across the UK and the rest of the world, or advising prospective students (those about to attend the University). Career ambassadors can volunteer as mentors to provide advice and guidance to students as well as providing a career profile for our website and the Careers Service.
